The iPhone crash sequence consists of two quotation marks followed by two colons: “”::. When you type this set of characters into the search bar of the Settings App or the App Library it can unexpectedly lead to a system issue where the iPhones Springboard (the interface you interact with) crashes and your screen goes dark.

The screen of the device will go dark show the iPhone loading screen and then return to a home screen.
